Did Obama Assassinate Clinton Delegates?

“George Soros met with Hillary and Obama.
Soros said his agenda was to tear this economy down to the ground.
Obama said, ‘no problem.’ Hillary said, ‘no way.’”

I’m going to take you on a little journey that – even I’m not sure I believe. But it is newsworthy, in my opinion. One of my key True The Vote heroes was asked to be on the blogtalkradio station Red Right & Blue this past Saturday. And a Hollywood Producer was also on who claimed:

• She heard out of Bill Clinton’s own mouth that they knew Obama was not eligible, and,
• Bill Clinton shut up after his long time friend was murdered as he was about to go public.
• She was told by Democrat operatives that George Soros met with both Obama and Hillary to see if either they would be willing to destroy the US economy.

This whole scenario is weird to me. If you are still so clueless that you think Sheriff Joe Arapio’s findings from his 6 month investigation aren’t important (or worse, wrong), then you are part of the problem. (And that includes Limbaugh, Levin, Malkin, Hannity and Erick Erickson at RedState who took an oath to uphold the Constitution). I’ll be honest. If I hadn’t downloaded the long form birth certificate myself into Photoshop the day it was released to see it for myself, I would still just be trying to grasp this. But I did and interviewed Bob Cooley who witnessed Obama’s Chicago machine’s corruption (stealing votes, fixing cases and getting payoff’s) – I wouldn’t be open this open to these new allegations.
What is shocking to me is that I had never heard of this grassroots media source on blogtalkradio.com until last week when it was referenced by The Ulsterman Report (UR) and the “Washington and Wall Street Insider” conspiracies it has been covering for some time.

Background on First Political ‘Assassination’

For those who have not been following this, UR’s Washington Insider described how long time Democratic Operative Kam Kuwata (who set up the 2008 Denver Democratic convention and ran Hillary’s West Coast campaign) was found inexplicably murdered after he informed some other Democrats of Obama being carried into a room, weird chanting and suddenly emerging as if he was a new man only moments later. (I know – it sounds preposterous but read the comments in the above linked article and trace the evidence yourself.) Kuwata was Diane Feinstein’s aide and longtime friend.
The actual timeline is much stranger and happens this way:

• Tony West – an attorney at the law firm defending Barack Obama’s birth certificate matters raises $65 Million for Barack Obama’s election. His sister-in-law Kamala Harris is the District Attorney for San Francisco.
• Kam Kuwata tells others (likely Sen. Feinstein) of weird Obama stuff he saw at the convention.
• Obama elected with huge illegal campaign (25% of what he raises) coming through a SINGLE California bank) much from Tony West. Rumors swirl of up to $300 Million in undeclared campaign contributions are not reported or those donors.
• Feinstein’s aide and Kuwata’s business partner BOTH indicted and sent to prison by soon to be Dem Governor Cuomo of NY.
• Kuwata works against CA Attorney General Kamala Harris to put in a CA AG who can investigate Obama campaign donations.
• A few months later highly active Kuwata found 2 weeks dead in his apartment.
• The same month Tony West is appointed as Assistant Attorney General in the Civil Division reporting to Eric Holder at the Department of (so called) Justice.
• At Kuwata’s memorial, Feinstein very strangely “scooped” the President with the news of Osama Bin Laden death by 1 hour. Feinstein and intelligence knew of OBL location since January. Some wonder if this was a warning to Obama.
• DOJ does not investigate Kuwata’s death.
• A month later, former CA Obama Committee chairwoman embezzles millions in funds from Feinstein’s campaign and others including Obama’s CA funds. This critically impairs Feinstein’s reelection hopes.
• Feinstein charged with ethics violations.
• Kamala Harris found to be in pocket of public sector unions scuttling initiative on their behalf.
• Kamala Harris named Co-Chairwoman of the Obama Campaign.
• CA AG Kamala Harrisand the NY AG replacing Gov Cuomo refuse to follow the law on failed mortgages, threatening the FDIC and creating a $25 Billion Mortgage settlement that:
  • Gives 70% of the money to government programs
  • Penalizes stockholders, brokers who never admitted guilt in due process
  • Allows the REAL perpetrators of the mortgage crisis (both public and private) to skate without ANY prosecution. (Very good explanation here.)
  • It also gives her a slush fund of over $1 Billion to preside over.
• Tony West is appointed Assistant Attorney General of the United States under Eric Holder.
• American Bar Association Journal reports Kamala Harris be considered as next Supreme Court Justice replacing Ruth Bader Ginsberg.

Crazy stuff, huh? You have no idea.

Hillary Clinton Superdelegate Murdered

I don’t have much patience for non-professional, well sourced media whether it be ABC, Allahpundit or a All My Chitlin. (All of which have been sorely lacking in getting stories correct I might add.) Red, Right & Blue (RRB) blogtalkradio show seems to be made of completely non-professionals. I heard claims made by different parties on the show that I know to be factually untrue, so this all has to be taken with caution. (For instance, Bettina claims the only Legislation which Obama sponsored in Illinois was a “National Islam Day.” Obama sponsored 35 bills including a recognition of South Side Islamic center that seems to have died in committee. She is also wildly misinformed on Newt Gingrich’s positions including having been a major player in fighting HillaryCare, ObamaCare, TARP and Cap & Trade. She also claims Santorum voted “almost exclusively” with Pelosi and Reed which is ridiculous even with Santorum’s big government votes.)
The only reason PolitiJim is proceeding with this story is because it is first hand testimony by Hollywood Agent/Producer Bettina Sofia Viviano on matters she would likely have direct knowledge of, or association with Democratic officials who would. Ms. Viviano was a non-political [person] who was approached to make the documentary about the irregularities of voter fraud by Barack Obama against Hillary Clinton in the 2008 Democratic Presidential Nominating race. (Forty minutes of We Will Not be Silenced can be viewed here. The entire Red, Right & Blue interview at bottom of post with time codes referencing her quotes.)
In the RRB interview, Viviano said her film documented massive systemic corruption by the Obama campaign via:

• Precinct chairpersons and workers misreporting (or holding) results
• Voter intimidation and violence
• Vote destruction and fabrication

Some may remember a Hillary campaign memo complaining of voting irregularities that was not even acknowledged by the mainstream press. From the media you would have thought Obama won in a landslide. But gong into the convention, Obama led Hillary by only 165 delegates out of 4418 (3.7%). Texas has a primary, followed by a caucus the same day where delegates are bound by their earlier voting. Although Hillary actually won the popular vote in Texas by 52% to 48%, for the first time in state history, the caucus results did not match the primary and were wildly skewed toward Obama 56% to 44%. Many precincts never turned in votes. And this happened nationwide. In primary states (more difficult to initiate voter fraud), Clinton consistently won by 2% to 4%. In caucus states where Obama controlled the mechanisms, he won almost 2 to 1, a statistical impossibility.

In her documentary We Will Not be Silenced, there are first hand accounts of voter intimidation, vote manipulation, vandalism and violence not just on behalf of Obama, but against even elderly Clinton voters. The film has direct testimony of a lady who witnessed two young thugs threatening older people coming to a community center if they voted for Hillary. This sounds oddly familiar of the New Black Panther intimidation case which we now konw was not an isolated event.
In the documentary, another Hillary supporter who was a super-delegate describes a call from a Senator who told her since she voted for Hillary if she ran for political office they would strip all of her position with the Democrat party.
There were over 2,000 complaints (including criminal) in Texas alone. In her RRB interview, Viviano describes footage of a young African American delegate who was threatened with murder if he did not change his allegiance to Obama from Hillary. (As far as we know, Rick Santorum’s similar antics against Newt Gingrich did not involve criminal violence, although we were told he did a similar thing in Pennsylvania in 2006.)
Pelosi bribed 28 multiple super delegates to support Barack Obama with cash gifts up to $250,000. Sixteen (16) of 28 endorsed Obama although their state and district selected Hillary Clinton. Other Obama supporters like James Clyburn followed suit giving money to all but 2 of these 28.
Bettina also reported that the interviews done with women from Obama’s home church Trinity United Church of Christ and had to be conducted with anonymity due to their fear of Obama. An interview in the film (from Chicago) admits many tactics are well known to those who live in the Obama Machine areas. You never heard it on ABCBSNBC, but past voting fraud by Obama was vicious.

Obama Orders Assassination of Bill Clinton Friend?

With this as a backdrop, Bettina Viviano mentioned two different things in her RRB interview. In three completely different places in the interview she said:

• She heard directly out of Bill and Hillary’s mouth that they knew he was not eligible.
• She was told by the Hillary camp that Bill was going to “out Obama” but he was threatened and backed off.
• She said that Bill Clinton’s best friend was murdered as a threat.

Bill Gwaltney

Indeed, Bill Gwaltney who was a very close friend of Hillary and Bill, Chairman of the Arkansas Democratic Party and SuperDelegate for Hillarywas killed by a lone gunman in Little Rock.
Are these events connected? Hold onto your feathers, for they are about to fly when you see it in the chronology and order I do.
Hillary’s campaign became public with the fraud during the Texas primary and caucus on March 4th of 2008. Even California delegates for Obama noticed irregularities such as an incident where 900 delegate prospects were hacked to 17 party insiders. Clearly the delegate vote was close and it’s clear the Clinton camp was crusin’ for a fight at the convention, August 25-27th in Denver.
On Barack Obama’s alleged birthday of August 4th, 2008, Bill Clinton gave an interview from Africa and was asked if he was angry. Bill Clinton brought up Obama and eligibility:

I think everybody’s got a right to run for president if he qualifies under the Constitution, and I would be the last person to ever begrudge anybody their ambition, and he was a superbly gifted candidate in this election, and had a great operation. They thought this thing through, and it’s a contact sport…The only thing I ever got mad about was people in your kind of work pretending that she started this stuff. (PoliticsUSA)

In case you missed it, at the 0:38 mark in talking about why he loves coming to Africa, Clinton talks of how he loves the beauty and people of Africa and :

I like seeing people whose lives are SAVED and CHANGED. I think it proves that CHANGE is possible

The smirk that he says on the word “change,” the second word in Obama’s campaign theme, is undeniable. Remember, this is the word parsers of all word parsers. “Is” isn’t always “is” to him. Is it possible that Clinton arranged for the African interview on Obama’s birthday when rumors of his Kenyan birth were swirling, to actually make a threat to Obama that Barack’s political life could saved and changed if he offered Hillary the Veep slot? Or even step aside?
After asking Clinton about the “racist” remarks he made during the campaign, ABC reporter Kate Snow asks again about eligibility (6:30 mark), which is quite odd since most professional broadcasters wouldn’t repeat the same topic after discussing so many others with such a short time of video available. Snow asks, “Do you think he is completely qualified to be President? Because in the campaign there were some things you said…” Clinton:

No, I never said he wasn’t qualified. The constitution sets the qualifications to be President. Then the people decide who they think would be the better President. I think we have two choices. I think he should win and I think he will win.

Notice, the Slickster never comes out and says he is qualified. If the Clintons had already made some threat to Obama about getting out or offering the V.P. position to Hillary, is it possible that he is saying, “Obama you have two choices. I hope you (win) make the right one?”
Eight Days later, a Target store employee studying computer science at a nearby college, inexplicably became irritable and spray painted a hallway at work being let go. Timothy Dale Johnson went to the offices of Hillary friend and Super Delegate Bill Gwalenty at the Arkansas Democratic Headquarters and asked some questions about volunteering. He poked his head into Gwalenty’s office shooting him fatally. He then walked into the Southern Baptist Convention building waved his gun and left without harming anyone. He was chased by police and shot 6 times dying instantly as he attempted to open a rifle case that seemed locked. Police closed the investigation finding no motive, no connection to Gwalenty and the police were cleared for shooting Timothy Johnson. The family is baffled.
The following Monday Bill Clinton gave an energy summit speech widely covered because he equally praised Obama and McCain.
One Day later, Rep. Stephanie Tubbs Jones of Cleveland, another super delegate, and one of Hillary Clinton’s most prominent black supporters, was found in her car unconscious, and died of a brain hemorrhage after her car went out of control. Police have no explanation why. Tubbs had been extremely vocal about the pressure put upon her to support Barack Obama and fiercely resisted even calling out the practice.
This certainly lends credence to the two camps “yelling and screaming” at each other during the convention according to her insiders. Politico mentioned the tension, though none of these specific items.
As most conservatives know Bill Clinton is no stranger to “coincidental deaths” including Vince Foster, Ron Brown, and scores more. No other President had this many people he was connected to die, especially those that had Chinese contribution secrets (Huang) or past financial scandals (McDougal). But it would explain why Hillary “gave up” when it shocked most of us.
Especially if they knew Barack Obama had his own “body count.”

Other Assassinations and Strange Deaths

Buried by the mainstream media are the stories from Obama’s murdered gay lovers at Jeremiah Wright’s church within weeks of each other – execution style. (If you still don’t know or believe Obama is bi-sexual you might want to watch the video testimony of Larry Sinclair) Also inexplicable are the deaths of Seal Team Six who never would fly an entire company in one helicopter alone.
Don’t get me started on Fast & Furious and the death of his Grandmother from cancer 2 days before the general election who was, according to Barack Obama “sharp as a tack,” except for osteoporosis only 2 months earlier. (Anyone want to guess why he travel all the way back to Hawaii in the middle of a campaign because she was “suddenly ill” but only did so for one hour and without Michelle and the kids?)
Maybe some legislators will begin to understand why we patriots are more than little nervous with Obama and his administration being given questionable power in any form.

Other Notable Bettina Viviano Interview Items

The We Will Not be Silenced film was rushed into production and Bettina’s film partners printed copies to show at the Democrat National Convention in Denver at local theaters. She says only later did she realize it was Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, Howard Dean and the Democratic Party that were the perpetrators. Just as she described on the RRB interview, I found news stories that the DNC prohibited the Hillary delegates from being counted as they had in every previous election. California was completely passed over and not even called on during the convention following a secret vote that reporters would not inquire upon.
Among other Viviano bombshells:

• She claims she has obtained a memo from Donna Brazile from 2004 saying they had predetermined Barack Obama to be the candidate for 2008.
• She says Democrats are planning in 2012 (and have in the past) to drive through skid row and pay the homeless to vote with liquor and booze bribes, as well as getting Alzheimer’s patients to vote.
• Alice Palmer, (the lady who through Obama’s first political fund raiser at Bill Ayers house) was disqualified with all other challengers from running for her old Senate seat by Barack Obama’s lawyers when he decided he wanted the seat. She became a Hillary supporter. (Links in 2012 Section below.)
• She claims it was widely known at the time that John McCain was not qualified as a natural born citizen either. (Theory Link)
• Claims her Democrat sources told her it was a “fact” that George Soros met with Hillary and Obama. Soros said his agenda was to tear this economy down to the ground. Obama said, “no problem.” Hillary said, “no way.”
• At Iowa caucus she attended – Ron Paul had 99% of the votes, but all participants were Democrats.

Viviano and her partners have had offers to help finish and promote the film including Andrew Breitbart, PJTV, and others. Her partner in the production however, a Democrat, is too afraid too continue at this point she believes.

2012 Will be Worse

Bettina mentions that she as seen the Black Panther offices they set up in Houston to prepare for 2012. Bob Cooley, who wrote about many of these techniques in his book When Corruption was King, has said the “$1 Billion” in campaign funds isn’t going to be used for TV ads, it will be to buy of precinct chairmen, pay volunteers to overwhelm the voting systems with fraud (like we saw in the Wisconsin recall where “Mickey Mouse” was allowed), and to pay hackers to change the electronic voting machine systems.
As we wrote in “Is this the Obama Crime Plan?,” it made absolutely no sense that Obama would doing nothing to move himself closer to the “center” (as all good unprincipled Democrats do) before an election. What possible advantage is there in killing 100,000 jobs with the Keystone Pipeline? If Obama thinks he can get away with this nationally, against the “Body Count” Clintons – you can believe that this election season will be worse than one overseen by Hugo Chavez as Secretary of State.
And it explains why he feels no need to do real things that create jobs and make him popular. He simply doesn’t think he’ll need it.

Feds Willing to Destroy Millions of Vital Records Just to Protect Barack Obama:

There are numerous reasons for law enforcement and professional organizations to request copies of records from the Selective Service System.  Sometimes the request is for a background check for a job or security clearance.  Other requests are made because of individuals who have made unsubstantiated claims about their backgrounds and qualifications.  Yet others are prompted by someone running for political office.

For decades the Selective Service has readily complied with the requests and furnished the desired documents.  That is until they heard that they would be receiving an official subpoena for copies of Barack Hussein Obama’s records.

On September 16, 2011, the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office announced that their Cold Case Posse was launching an investigation into the birth certificate and Selective Service documents.  World Net Daily picked up the announcement and made it known nationally.

On September 20, 2011, The Selective Service System announced new policy changes to the privacy rules, handling and preservation of existing documents.  Under the new guidelines, draft registration records would be considered as nonrecord copies instead of record copies.  Record copies must be kept on file, but nonrecord copies can be disposed of and destroyed.  That means that any and all draft registration cards and microfilm copies are now subject to being destroyed, including the one belonging to Obama.

Incidentally, the Selective Service System’s policies on privacy and preservation of records had not been changed in over 11 years, but we are to believe that it is mere coincidence that it was suddenly changed at this moment of time.

The only public record of Obama’s draft registration was a copy of a Selective Service registration card that was obtained by Stephen Coffman just prior to the 2008 election.  Coffman is a retired immigration officer who placed the request for the card after his retirement from Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Michael Zullo, the lead investigator of the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Cold Case Posse, and his team, examined the draft registration card obtained by Coffman and determined that it was a forgery.  Sheriff Arpaio has sent two official letters to the Selective Service System and as yet has never received any of the records requested.

The reason the Selective Service record is so important is to determine if Barack Obama actually did register for the draft as a US citizen or if in fact he was a foreign student who attended Occidental College in Los Angeles.  Only US citizens are required to register with the Selective Service System on their 18^th birthday, foreign nationals are not so required.

If Obama was a US citizen as he claims, then there would have to have been a record of his Selective Service registration and status.  Since the copy obtained by Coffman has been shown to be a forgery, that means the only way to prove that he had registered would be to obtain copies of his paperwork and records.  But if they have been conveniently destroyed under the new policy, then there is no way to officially verify his draft registration and citizenship.

Many Americans are asking the same question about Obama’s citizenship.  If he truly is a US citizen, then why is he trying to so hard to hide the documentation to prove it?  It seems that he would want to exonerate himself and end all of the controversy once and for all.  His constant refusal to make his records available only makes him look as guilty as sin and pours fuel on the fires of doubt and conspiracy.

So like so many others, I say, Mr Obama, either verify your eligibility to hold the office of President of the United States or get the heck out of OUR White House!

Barack Obama Campaign Threaten Life of Chelsea Clinton to Keep Parents Silent on Obama’s Ineligibility!!Most people in the US, especially Democrats, believe that the Obama Birther Movement was started by Republicans and or the Tea Party. They believe it is a smear campaign aimed to tarnish the image of their hero of change. But they may be shocked to learn that the Birther Movement was actually started by former President Bill Clinton and Hillary back in 2008.

Bettina Viviano was a vice president with Amblin Enterntainment, Steven Spielberg’s company, before launching her own film production company in 1990. In 2008, Viviano was asked to produce a documentary about voter fraud within the Democratic Party. At the time, she says she was not a Democrat or a Republican and in fact had never voted in an election. She went into the project with the sole purpose of producing the best and most accurate documentary possible.

During the documentary process, Viviano says that she quickly became aware of just how dangerous and insidious the Obama campaign was. A number of the Democrats she interviewed refused to appear on camera and told her that their lives and property had been threatened by people working with the Obama campaign.

She also heard former President Bill Clinton say that Obama was not eligible to be president because of his lack of birth records. In fact, she said it was common knowledge around many top Democrats. Bill Clinton has often said that he would go public with the information when the time was right.

Before that could happen, his close friend and head of the Arkansas Democratic Party, Bill Gwatney was murdered in his office and then someone told Bill that he was next if he said anything about Obama’s eligibility. In the video below, she said that Clinton was not intimidated until someone associated with the Obama campaign told him that his daughter Chelsea would be next if he opened his mouth. From that point on, the Clinton’s remained silent about Obama’s birth certificate or lack thereof.

This is a powerful video from a lady that has nothing to gain and probably everything to lose by coming forward with her information. It could well ruin her career in Hollywood as so many of the film industry are flaming liberals. It could also cost her her life.

I took note of how she described the Obama campaign’s reign of terror and intimidation and how well coordinated it was. I thought to myself that if they were bold enough to threaten the life of the Clinton’s daughter then have they made similar threats to all of the leading Republicans in both the House and Senate? Is this why Congress has remained so silent ever since Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s March 1st news conference where he provided the American people with the evidence that Obama’s birth certificate and Selective Service Cards are forgeries?

When you see how blatantly Obama has defied the US Constitution and federal law without any apology or excuses, it’s not hard to believe that he, like every other dictator in history, obtained his position by intimidation, threats and outright violence. Knowing he is capable of this has to make every single American extremely fearful if Obama gets re-elected.

And if the voter fraud will be as prevalent in November as it was in 2008, it seems a sure thing that he will be re-elected. Obama has had the DOJ strike down every voter ID law and any other measure taken, to reduce the chance of voter fraud. They have set the stage for an old fashioned Chicago style election with padded and illegal votes. Wait a minute, he is a Chicago politician, so guess he’s just following local history at a national level.

If he does get re-elected, I’m positive it will mean the end of free elections and free America. We will become another Soviet Union: a land run by an elite group of Marxists who will exploit all of the people for their own personal gain. America, for all intent and purpose will be dead if Obama gets re-elected.

A man barged into the Arkansas Democratic headquarters and opened fire Wednesday, fatally shooting the state party chairman before speeding off in his pickup. Police later shot and killed the suspect after a 30-mile chase.

Police said they don’t know the motive for the 51-year-old suspect, whose name has not been released. However, they said moments after the shooting, he pointed a handgun at the building manager at the nearby the Arkansas Baptist headquarters. He told the manager “I lost my job,” said Dan Jordan, a Baptist convention official.

Chairman Bill Gwatney died four hour after the shooting. The 48-year-old former state senator had been planning to travel to the Democratic National Convention later this month as a Hillary Clinton superdelegate.

Clinton and her husband, former President Bill Clinton, issued a statement calling Gwatney “not only a strong chairman of Arkansas’ Democratic Party, but he is also a cherished friend and confidante.”

UPDATE: The story gets more bizarre.

Police and neighbors are struggling to explain why a man described as a loner drove more than 30 miles to Arkansas’ Democratic Party headquarters and fatally shot its chairman hours after getting fired from his job.
Police said Timothy Dale Johnson, 50, of Searcy, barged into Bill Gwatney’s office on Wednesday and shot him multiple times. There were no signs that Gwatney and Johnson, who was later shot dead by officers, knew each other.

Johnson had no previous criminal record.  Apparently, he had just lost his job and decided he needed to shoot somebody.

Got an over-the-table job? Paying taxes? Paying for your own health insurance? Well, you’re pulling the wagon. If you’ve been pulling it very long, you’ve noticed that it’s getting heavier. That’s because there are more people riding and fewer pulling. How long can this go on? Not forever, that’s for sure and the load is about to get even heavier – much heavier. How long before the wagon runs into the ditch and everybody falls off?

Do you know people who work, but make most of their money under the table? Who don’t pay taxes? Don’t pay medical insurance? If you’re like most of us you don’t just know them, you’re related to them. They’re everywhere. They ride the wagon when they get sick or injured, but they don’t take their turn pulling it. They walk alongside and snicker at the rest of us in the harness.

But you get your medical insurance free because your employer pays it, you say? There’s no such thing as free. For those with, say, an Anthem family policy, it costs more than $50 a day and it’s part of your compensation whether you know it or not. Your employer knows it because he figures it into the cost of employing you. He could give you the $50 and let you send the check to the insurance company, but then the government would take some of it too and you’d pay even more. Nothing is free. Somebody pays. The wagon-pullers pay.

How many people do you know who have gone on disability? How many of them are actually disabled and unable to work? How many have grossly exaggerated their ailments to “qualify” with the help of lawyers from Binder and Binder? I bet you’re related to some of them too. Most of us are.

“The trouble with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money,” said former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher. The wagon-pullers either quit or collapse in harness and that’s happening already in the UK. It’s nearly bankrupt. With its enormous social programs and surging illegal immigrant population, so is California. The whole USA headed down the same road – and with “bailouts” of a trillion here and a trillion there, we’re picking up speed.

The $825 billion “economic stimulus” package is being shaped by the Democrats in control of Congress and the White House as I write. Obama’s chief economic advisor, Robert Reich, testified before Congress, saying: “I am concerned, as I’m sure many of you are, that these jobs not simply go to high-skilled people who are already professionals, or to white male construction workers.”

Hmm.

Not only will we have increasingly socialist tax policies, money raised will be spent according to race. I thought the Obama Administration was going to be the first “post-racial” presidency. Did I miss something? Reich went on to say: “Criteria can be set so that the money does go to others – the long-term, unemployed minorities, women – people who are not necessarily construction workers or high-skilled professionals.”

Hmm.

Obama says he wants to build roads and bridges and other infrastructure with all that money. He assures us that there are plenty of these projects “shovel-ready” all around the country, just waiting for the funds to go ahead. I can see myself now – being stopped by a chubby wagon-rider with an orange vest, a walkie-talkie, and a STOP sign on a pole in front of a government work crew standing around, leaning on those shovels and smoking cigarettes.

Later, when I drive over one of those “new-infrastructure” bridges, I’ll remember that there weren’t any “highly-skilled, white professionals” involved in building it and I’ll thank God if I make it to the other side.

President Obama told Joe the Plumber he would “spread the wealth around” by raising taxes on the “rich.” Trouble is, the “rich” are paying most of the taxes already and, if you’ve worked all your life and you’re still alive, you’re one of them. As a teacher with a wife and three kids 30 years ago, I was “poor” – officially under the federal poverty line. I’m still a teacher, but with two additional part-time jobs, a working wife and four grown-and-gone children – but now I’m “rich.” Rich and poor are not static categories and my story is not unusual. The top half of American earners pays 96% of federal income taxes. The bottom half pays less than 4%. If you factor in the “earned income tax credit,” most of that bottom half pay less than nothing; they get paid instead. Yet Obama and Pelosi want to give them a rebate! On what? You have to pay first to get money “back.” Let’s just call it what it is – a massive redistribution of income from wagon pullers to wagon riders.

I often warn that the welfare state reaches a point-of-no-return when the number of people riding in the wagon begins to outnumber the number of people pulling the wagon.
To be more specific, if more than 50 percent of the population is dependent on government (employed in the bureaucracy, living off welfare, receiving pensions, etc), it becomes rather difficult to form a coalition to fix the mess. This may explain why Greek politicians have resisted significant reforms, even though the nation faces a fiscal death spiral.
But you don’t need me to explain this relationship. One of our Cato interns, Silvia Morandotti, used her artistic skills to create two images (click pictures for better resolution) that show what a welfare state looks like when it first begins and what it eventually becomes.
These images are remarkably accurate. The welfare state starts with small programs targeted at a handful of genuinely needy people. But as  politicians figure out the electoral benefits of expanding programs and people figure out the that they can let others work on their behalf, the ratio of producers to consumers begins to worsen.
Eventually, even though the moochers and looters should realize that it is not in their interest to over-burden the people pulling the wagon, the entire system breaks down.
Then things get really interesting. Small nations such as Greece can rely on permanent bailouts from bigger countries and the IMF, but sooner or later, as larger nations begin to go bankrupt, that approach won’t be feasible.

Obama's General Motors [GM] Tarp Bailout - The Untold Details
Regardless of the GM bailout headlines proclaiming the staggering numbers, the real story of the government's bailout of GM, using TARP funds, is much more than just the billions of dollars involved. It is more importantly a story of governmental hubris that started with President Bush and the Republican Congress panicking and pandering to public fears, followed by President Obama and his administration - the Treasury Department in particular, skirting, or ignoring the rule of law to pursue a plan that was formulated based on political considerations rather than established contract law and sound economic procedures.
As a nation of laws, our problems with the GM bailout shouldn't be just the billions of taxpayer dollars used, they should also include the governmental bailout actions that broke whatever rules got in the way of their agenda, and, their intended efforts to deceive the public though misinformation and factual omission.
Bailing Out General Motors - The Background
First it should be noted that the General Motors bailout efforts also included Chrysler Corp. Although each have their own story details, the government actions to save the auto industry addressed many of the problems as being intertwined, and applied many solutions as common to both entities.
In late 2007, GM's financial situation was getting so bad that economists were ringing the alarm bells - warning of a possible collapse of the company. In 2008 those alarms became emergency sirens. General Motors could no longer avoid filing for bankruptcy, and it was doubtful that it could be a Chapter 11, or even a chapter 13 filing that would allow General Motors to reorganize and re-emerge as a new company - it would be a Chapter 7 filing - complete company liquidation; GM would perish as just one more failed company.
Americans, (and the world), were bombarded with Doomsday headlines: GM BANKRUPTCY TO COST 100,000's OF AMERICAN JOBS, GM COLLAPSE MEANS DEATH OF U.S. AUTO INDUSTRY, GOVERNMENT MUST SAVE GM TO SAVE U.S. ECONOMY
Bush was a lame-duck president when TARP, (Troubled Assets Relief Program), was created, (Bush's Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson's plan), to fight the crisis in the U.S. financial market. But he supported it, as did Congress, and incoming President Obama. It would be Obama's administration that would take over and administer the government's TARP efforts for the General Motors bailout.
Using TARP was seen as the only option to save GM. But there was a problem - this was the start of government's shenanigans in the GM bailout saga - TARP was legislatively created specifically for the financial market's crisis, and its use of funds was mandated for the purpose of buying troubled assets from financial institutions that would fail if they could not get rid of those toxic assets. Hence TARP. There were no provisions or authorities that would allow TARP to be used for a GM bailout. It would take more legislation from Congress to authorize such use.
But... there is always a but, the public was already screaming foul at Congress and the President over the daily headlines of how billions of dollars of TARP funds were going to favored financial institutions, overseas banks and investors, and worse - executive bonuses.
Both administrations knew Congress would not approve the needed legislation in the face of such a public outcry. So essentially, they agreed to just do it anyway. Of course they pointed to this paragraph or that in the TARP mandate, and stretched the meanings to, perhaps, technically authorize their use of TARP for a GM bailout. Several legal challenges were raised, (more on that later), and many legal experts opine that a court test would go against the administration's use of the funds.
Under the direction and control of Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner, the Obama administration proceeded with the governmental bail-out plan for GM, (and Chrysler).
$51/$71/$81 Billion Taxpayer dollars go to save GM
Experts are still quibbling over the exact amount of taxpayer money that went into the GM bailout - but what's a few 10's of billions of dollars here and there.
Now we were bombarded with headlines touting the numbers: TARP TO SPEND $8 BILLION TO SAVE GM - GOVERNMENT GIVES GM $51 BILLION... and on and on.
Everyday was a new "billions" number - with a different explanation for its need or use: $11 billion to keep small parts supply-chain companies in business, $21 billion to see GM through bankruptcy proceedings, $10 billion for this, $20 billion for that... pretty soon we were inured to the numbers. A billion dollars used to be a bunch of money, period! But with these kind of numbers in the headlines weekly - they seemed to become just more scoreboard entries than actual dollar amounts.
Some generally excepted Tarp Fund Bailout numbers...

• $49.5 Billion - Conservative agreement of total TARP funds loaned or given to GM
• $30.1 Billion - Government purchase of GM stock - GM did not have enough financing to support a re-organization plan a bankruptcy court could accept, (or so it was stated), so to get the money, the U.S. Government gave GM $30.1 billion dollars in exchange for 60% ownership of the New GM company
• *note: many sources add this to the TARP GM loans amounts to arrive at a total of taxpayer-funded loans to the GM bailout - to come up with the big $77 or $81 billion dollar numbers, but this is not correct, the $30.1 billion is not a loan that can be repaid - it can only be recovered through the sale of the government's interest in GM ownership.

This explanation isn't intended to detail the timeline or trail of TARP funds to GM, there are other sources for those details. The only purpose here was to paint a general image that it is BIG Money - regardless of the exact amount, as mentioned the $49.5 billion is the conservative number that GM and the government acknowledge.
The General Motors Bankruptcy Plan
Details of the government's involvement in, and approval of, GM's bankruptcy plan, (formulated by Treasury Secretary Geithner, the Auto Worker's Unions, (UAW), and technically GM's management), that was submitted to the Bankruptcy Court for approval, were the determining factors deciding whether GM would be forced to liquidate, or allowed to file under Chapter 11 terms and emerge from the filings as a new company - to continue business.
But in fact, it was a completely new process that the bankruptcy courts had never dealt with before - a government-subsidized reorganization plan that the court could only tinker with, and then rubber-stamp its approval.
The winners and losers of the Government's plan for GM bankruptcy hearing
This is where the administration shows its true colors.

1. U.S. Government buys 60% share of the New GM company for $30.1 billion - giving GM the necessary "debtor in possession" funds reserve that the court required in order to consider a Chapter 11 filing
2. The AWU's, (UAW), received a 17% ownership stake in GM, (65% in Chrysler), in lieu of the money GM owed for union health and pension commitments. At the time this equated to about 40 cents on the dollar, but in reality stock shares could be sold at levels that would not only make the health and pension funds whole - but possibly generate a profit. *Note: Unions made an initial stock sale, (a portion of their shares), right after the IPO, at a rate that generated a $4 billion profit to the funds
3. Private secured investors were given a settlement agreement at the rate of 29 cents on the dollar *Note: these "private investors" also included investment funds composed of other union pension funds, like the Federated Teachers Association - which naturally screamed murder and went to court - where they failed to find relief - looks like the Obama administration and the UAW had more clout. THIS WAS UNPRECEDENTED IN CONTRACT LAW WHERE SECVURED CREDITORS WERE GIVE SECOND POSITION!!
4. **It should be noted that established contract law required secured creditors be paid first, but Obama's administration simply ignored this legal requirement and gave the unsecured union creditors first position - leaving whatever might be left for the secured investors.
5. Common-share stock holders were completely wiped out, when GM emerged from bankruptcy, all shares in the "old" GM were worthless since the "old" GM didn't exist anymore
6. GM was allowed to retain a $45 billion business-loss tax credit, carried forth from the "old" GM to the "New" GM - a practice unheard of in bankruptcy proceedings, essentially adding a $45 billion "gift" to off-set tax liabilities of the new company.
7. Delphi, a parts supplier network and GM spinoff, had all GM debt to it cancelled. Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner also decided to cut pensions liabilities for salaried non-union employees to expedite GM’s emergence from bankruptcy.

There are many more GM bankruptcy plan details of course, but these are the biggies, and as with the TARP bailout amounts, more information is readily available from other sources.
The deception and misinformation begins
It all started with a statement by President Obama, to paraphrase: We do not want to be involved in the day to day operations and decisions of the New GM, and we have no intention of micro-managing their new executive team.
But....
The administration forced out the CEO of General Motors, Rick Wagoner
FOIA, (Freedom of Information Act), filings found that GM’s TV ad campaign last year that misleadingly* claimed that the company had paid back its government loan in full was approved by the administration. They also uncovered e-mails between GM CEO Ed Whitacre and various Treasury and other federal officials a month in advance of GM’s announcement of TARP loan repayments. These emails included draft schedules, draft remarks to be given by Mr. Whitacre, and draft press releases from both GM and the Treasury Department.
*GM did not payback the TARP loans as their announcement appeared to say. They only paid back one particular loan package of $6.7 billion - not the $49.5 billion the announcement implied. Even worse was that GM also did not repay the loan with monies and profits from the newly invigorated company - they paid it back with more TARP funds from another TARP escrow account, none of the repayment funds came from GM monies.
And Obama's administration knew this, and as shown above, actually helped compose and orchestrate the public announcements that deceived the public.
The Obama administration also took to the airwaves, proclaiming GM's announcement of 2011 1st quarter profits of $3.7 billion dollars, as proof of the success of their bailout efforts in saving the auto industry. President Obama even held a press conference to proclaim this as a sign of of the success of his administrations bailout efforts.
But, it wasn't true. $1.5 billion of that $3.7 billion came directly from the spin-off sale of GM's Delphi group, and a couple other smaller business units, and had nothing to do with sales and operational profits.. Leaving a real operational profit of only $1.2 billion, which was less than Ford's "non-government" assisted profits for the same quarter. The $1.2 billion number was even more misleading because it did not include any tax costs, (but Ford's numbers did), due to the $45 billion tax-loss "gift" the bankruptcy court allowed GM to carry forward onto the new company's books.
Finally - was the bailout really needed....
There has been much said for and against the need for the General Motors bailout.
Public officials from many auto industry-related organizations, the Obama administration - from the top down, and with very few exceptions - most members of Congress, all proclaimed that GM was too big to be allowed to fail. Too many jobs, (100,000's, and hundreds of small support businesses), would be lost, and too much of our economy depended on the survival of GM. Failure would be so catastrophic that not only would it undo all that had been done to save our financial markets, it would topple other segments of our economy - like dominoes, right down to the mom and pop diners that depended on auto industry worker's lunch money.
This may be true, had GM been forced to liquidate, and completely cease operations.
Maybe, but, there are other very knowledgeable business and bankruptcy experts that have different opinions. Many believe GM would have been granted Chapter 11 status without government intervention. They believe this would have been much more beneficial to both the company and our economy.
They believe bankruptcy would have allowed GM to:

• Start with a clean slate in union negotiations - relieving them of the legacy burdens of unaffordable union health and benefits costs that were one of the major contributors to their need for bankruptcy protection
• Negotiate new union wage contracts that were more realistic and in-line with other auto maker's cost - thus allowing them to be better positioned to be competitive. Industry average union wages are $56-$58 per hour, (including benefits costs), GM's union wage costs were $70 per hour
• Follow other typical Chapter 11 re-emergence efforts, like; shedding unprofitable parts of the company, (lie. streamlining it's bloated dealerships program), re-negotiate cost-prohibitive contractual obligations, and more...

The point being, the same options afforded any other business that seeks Chapter 11 protection in order to reorganize into a profitable company - would have been available to GM.
Todd Zywicki, a bankruptcy expert at George Mason University, highly doubts that GM would have faced liquidation. Because the company was financially distressed—after years of poor management—but not economically nonviable, in short - just the type of situation the bankruptcy laws were designed for. If GM had put together a credible restructuring plan, it would have been able to obtain debtor-in-possession financing under which, as the name suggests, the debtors would have essentially possessed the company. But it would have been allowed to emerge as a more streamlined entity. Without needing $49.5 billion +/- of the taxpayer's dollars.
If Todd, and other similar bankruptcy law experts are correct, then why was the Obama administration so focused on a bailout-only solution?
Could it be because the unions would have stood in line just like the rest of the creditors? Or because the bankruptcy court would have voided all labor union contracts, allowing GM to start fresh negotiations with the unions - without the legacy burdens already in the contracts, ($70 per hour, $12-$14 per hour more than GM's competitors)? Or because it would have allowed GM to streamline and re-negotiate its dealership program contracts, (almost ALL auto industry experts agree GM's dealership program was over-saturated - supporting too many dealerships was another major cost driving the company's profits down), which realistically GM could not accomplish due to local political influence that in turn became Congressional political influence?
We may never know for sure. Or as the bankruptcy experts indicated, when more behind-the-scenes details are discovered, we may find out this was a case of political manipulation and deception on the grandest scale ever seen in our country's economic history.
But of course, you may have a different perspective, especially if you are a member of one of the AWU's, (like the UAW).

Footnote: As of the 2011 4th quarter, the New GM has made no further TARP loan repayments.

So much of the GM bailout effort was done behind political doors that it really wasn't clear what was what - until after the fact. As more details became public, and more contract and bankruptcy lawyers and experts weighed in it became less certain that the "Doomsday" scenario was accurate.

1. GM's position did not meet the criteria of a nonviable business - which would only merit a Chapter 7 filing

2. previous bankruptcy rulings indicate pension obligations would have received priority consideration, but behind secured creditors (as required by contract law - not just tossed out the door

3. A viable reorganization plan would have merited government-backed loan guarantee support, just not the massive hand-outs the bailout provided

4. Many experts point to the numerous successful major airlines bankruptcy reorganizations as examples of how the proceedings could have worked - almost an apples to apples comparison.

In a 2006 speech, Obama explained: "I was not raised in a particularly religious household, as undoubtedly many in the audience were. My father, who returned to Kenya when I was just two, was born Muslim but as an adult became an atheist.

In describing his grandparents as Baptist and Methodist, Obama was contradicting himself.  Describing his grandfather in Dreams (p17), Obama wrote:  "In his only skirmish into organized religion, he would enroll the family in the local Unitarian Universalist congregation...."

Like grandfather, like grandson: Barack Obama would make his "only skirmish into organized religion", joining Chicago's Trinity United Church, inspired by anti-American church leader, Reverend Jeremiah Wright.  He held tightly to Trinity until it endangered his presidential campaign.  Then he quit.  This is the sole basis of Obama's description of himself as a "Christian."
As we all know.. his parents split up and Stanley Ann Dunham remarried an Indonesian Muslim called Lolo Soetero .. ( A MUSLIM!! )

He went to school in Indonesia a Muslim Country and there is no evidence his new step father encouraged or allowed him and his mother to Practice Christianity. To the contrary!
"His former Roman Catholic and Muslim teachers, along with two people who were identified by Obama's grade-school teacher as childhood friends, say Obama was registered by his family as a Muslim at both schools he attended. That registration meant that during the third and fourth grades, Obama learned about Islam for two hours each week in religion class."

Recalling Obama's time in Indonesia, the Times account contains quotes that Obama "went to the mosque," and that he "was Muslim."

In Obama's own words, this was the REAL “church of influence in his life” - through his mother. Obama's grandparents, who evidently shared the values of THIS church, raised Obama after his mother left him, to continue the influence of this church through their own teaching.

{Ann Dunham could not stand the dumbed-down people who "don't know anything about geography or the rest of the world."  But she had a very different idea about black Americans.  As Obama explains:

Starting in the 1930s the Communist Party promoted opportunities for ‘inter-racial' relationships among its members.  The Communists could monopolize their social ties due to the intense social pressures created by the Democrats' system of Jim Crow segregation.  The social stigma against what segregationists such as Tennessee Senator Al Gore Sr. called ‘miscegenation' helped keep people in the orbit of the CPUSA.  As future Obama mentor Frank Marshall Davis would explain in his 1968 book "Sex Rebel: Black", CPUSA recruitment burgeoned in part due to the sexual opportunities the Communists created.

But we also know that Obama’s mother and grandparents associated with Communist Party leaders such as Frank Marshall Davis, a man who, according to Obama’s book, Dreams from my Father, was his main mentor during much of his Hawaiian boyhood (although Obama tried to disguise his identity in his book). During the Cold War, Davis was named by congressional investigators as a key member of a secretive pro-Soviet networked that existed in Hawaii at that time.


SURPRISE:
The lack of documents regarding Obama also extends to his mother and to his grandparents. Indeed, researchers have been unable to find marriage licenses for his mother’s two marriages, assuming she was ever legally married. Ditto goes for the marriage license for Ann’s parents. They cannot find birth certificates for her, her parents, or for even for her grandparents. Even more so, despite Obama’s boast of his grandfather’s military service, there’s no record of that either. For reasons no one knows, much of Obama’s life, his mother’s life and his grandparent’s life has been erased from the records as if they never existed.


SURPRISE: 

Immigration and Naturalization Service cards routinely filled out by airplane passengers arriving on international flights for the week of President Obama's birth, which was the first week of August in 1961, are missing from the National Archives.

Now we do know about “Frank”  without a last name in Obama’s book for very good reason.  (This was Frank Marshall Davis)

Honolulu had just earlier been shaken by the Honolulu Seven Trial of Longshoremen's Union leaders and other Communist Party members ending with convictions overturned by a 1958 Supreme Court decision.  But just as with John Stenhouse and Mercer Island, this didn't scare the Dunhams -- it attracted them.  Upon arriving in Honolulu, they became fast friends with Frank Marshall Davis who had been a columnist for the ILWU's communist-line Honolulu Record newspaper.  Davis had at one point chaired the Honolulu Seven defense committee.  Davis' editor had been one of the Honolulu Seven defendants -- Koji Ariyoshi.  The largest shareholder in the Record was Ed Rohrbough.  Ariyoshi's memoir "From Kona to Yenan" describes how he and Rohrbough worked as US military intelligence officers hand in hand with Mao Zedong in Yenan, China during WW2.  During and after the war they helped steer US policy toward the Red Chinese and against the Nationalists.

In Davis' memoir, "Livin the Blues" (p321), Davis describes the numerous highly successful people among Hawaii's very small black population and lists the positions they have risen in their various professions.  He then complains:

"These and similar jobs and elective positions were obtained solely on merit.  There are not enough souls here to wield political or economic power.  There is no ghetto, hence no potential Black Power."

Because Smith Street was the closest Hawaii had to a black ghetto, it became a focus of work for the Communist Party in Hawaii.  When attempting to lead a hostile CPUSA takeover of the NAACP in the late 1940s, Davis pointed to Smith Street as an example of segregation in Hawaii.  And just as Davis described joining the CPUSA in "Sex Rebel: Black", he also described interracial group sex and voyeurism in the back room of a Smith Street bar he called the "Green Goose". (p278-80)

Obama describes Davis as playing a very intimate role in his life from age 9 to 18.  When Barack returned to Honolulu from Indonesia in 1970, grandpa almost immediately took Barack to meet Davis.  Davis was to serve as a father figure to the young Obama for much of his youth and adolescence.  In light of the Communists' bizarre focus on Smith Street, Obama's description of meeting Davis for the first time at age 9 or 10 in 1970 or 1971 takes on new meaning:
...by the time I met Frank he must have been pushing eighty, with a big dewlapped face and an ill-kempt gray Afro that made him look like an old, shaggy-maned lion. He would read us his poetry whenever we stopped by his house, sharing whiskey with gramps out of an emptied jelly jar.  As the night wore on, the two of them would solicit my help in composing dirty limericks.  Eventually, the conservation would turn to laments about women.
"They'll drive you to drink, boy," Frank would tell me soberly.  "And if you let ‘em, they'll drive you into your grave."

I was intrigued by the old Frank, with his books and whiskey breath and the hint of hard-earned knowledge behind the hooded eyes.   The visits to his house always left me feeling vaguely uncomfortable, though, as if I were witnessing some complicated, unspoken transaction between the two men, a transaction I couldn't fully understand....

Then Obama immediately segues into a description of Smith Street:

....The same thing I felt whenever Gramps took me downtown to one of his favorite bars, in Honolulu's red light district.

"Don't tell your grandmother," he would say with a wink, and we'd walk past hard-faced, soft-bodied streetwalkers into a small, dark bar with a jukebox and a couple of pool tables.  Nobody seemed to mind that Gramps was the only white man in the place, or that I was the only eleven- or twelve-year-old.  Some of the men leaning across the bar would wave at us, and the bartender, a big, light-skinned woman with bare, fleshy arms, would bring a Scotch for gramps and a Coke for me.  If nobody else was playing at the tables, Gramps would spot me a few balls and teach me the game, but usually I would sit at the bar, my legs dangling from the high stool, blowing bubbles into my drink and looking at the pornographic art on the walls-the phosphorescent women on animal skins, the Disney characters in compromising positions....

...Our presence there felt forced, and by the time I had reached junior high school I had learned to beg off from Gramps's invitations, knowing that whatever it was I was after, whatever it was that I needed, would have to come from some other source.
In essence, when the young Obama returned from Indonesia, Gramps set about teaching him the CPUSA version of what it meant to be black.  That is why Obama was introduced to Davis and that is why gramps took him to Smith Street until Obama finally stopped accepting the initiations.

CHRISTIANITY YET ???

CPUSA archivist Gerald Horne explains the mold into which young Barack was cast by his mother, grandparents, and Frank Marshall Davis:

"In his best selling memoir ‘Dreams of my Father', the author (Obama) speaks warmly of an older black poet, he identifies simply as "Frank" as being a decisive influence in helping him to find his present identity as an African-American, a people who have been the least anticommunist and the most left-leaning of any constituency in this nation ...."

The hunger for recruits has given the CPUSA a black fetish -- both literally and figuratively.  And this fetish has in turn shaped the Communist view of society and of politics.

Barack Obama has not released transcripts for his grades from Occidental College, Columbia University and Harvard Law. He has also not released his SAT and LSAT scores. No explanation has been offered for not releasing them.
Per the Wall Street Journal September 11, 2008, "Obama's Lost Years," Obama graduated from Columbia University (to which he transferred after his first two years at Occidental College in California), with a degree in Political Science without honors, so had a GPA less than a 3.3. His roommate Sohale Siddiqi indicated Obama initially felt alienated, felt "very lost," and used drugs to get high, which could have led to low grades initially. The roommate indicates that he then turned serious and "stopped getting high." Obama transferred to Columbia because he was concerned with urban issues. Based on his overall undergraduate GPA of less than a 3.3, Mr. Obama's admission to Harvard Law School may reflect affirmative action statutes, low grades early, then higher grades later (purely speculation) and/or other factors.
At Harvard Law School, Obama graduated Magna Cum Laude, which, according to the Harvard Law School website, is awarded to the top 10% of Harvard Law School students.
Also at Harvard Law School, Obama was accepted as one of 85-90 Editors of the Harvard Law Review, out of an estimated 1,000 students from the 2L and 3L classes that might have sought this honor. Obama was also elected President of the Law Review, which according to a Harvard Law spokesperson is not based at all on academics, but on other measures as would occur in any club.

This circumstance will account for the preference with which they uniformly regard this branch of their pedigree, and for the many romantic legends they have grafted upon it...The Arabs, in their version of Ishmael’s history, have mixed a great deal of romance with the narrative of Scripture." "There is a prevalent notion that the Arabs, both of the south and north, are descended from Ishmael; and the passage in Gen. xvi.12, "he (Ishmael) shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren," is often cited as if it were a prediction of that national independence which, upon the whole, the Arabs have maintained more than any other people. But this supposition is founded on a misconception of the original Hebrew, which runs literally, "he shall before the faces of all his brethren," i.e., (according to the idiom above explained, in which "before the face" denotes the east), the habitation of his posterity shall be "to the east" of the settlements of Abraham’s’ other descendants...These prophecies found their accomplishment in the fact of the sons of Ishmael being located, generally speaking to the east of the other descendants of Abraham, whether of Sara or of Ketuah. But the idea of the southern Arabs being of the posterity of Ishmael is entirely without foundation, and seems to have originated in the tradition invented by Arab vanity that they, as well as the Jews, are of the seed of Abraham--a vanity which, besides disfiguring and falsifying the whole history of the patriarch and his son Ishmael, has transferred the scene of it from Palestine to Mecca." In the Qur’an, "Gen. 21.17-21...are identified with Mecca." (The Concise Encyclopedia of Islam, p. 193). It also states that the Southern Arabs come from Qahtan, not Ishmael (p. 48).
 

The Arabs’ claim to the land of Israel rest entirely on three false assumptions:
All Arabs are the descendants of Abraham through Ishmael.
Ishmael and his descendants were included in the covenant God made with Abraham.
Since the Abrahamic convenant included the land of Israel, the Arabs have a legitimate claim to it.
Ten Historical Facts that refute these Arab claims:
According to the Torah, when Abraham left Ur of the Chaldees, he went West to what is now called Israel (Gen. 12 ff.). He became a dweller in tents in that land. It was in Israel that God made a covenant with him for the land in which he was living at that time. It was in Israel that he fathered Isaac, Ishmael, and many other sons and daughters. Isaac was the only son of Abraham chosen by God to be the heir of the covenant. Abraham took Isaac to Mt. Moriah to be offered up as a sacrifice to God.
The Torah is contradicted by Qur’an at nearly every point. According to Surah 2:119-121, Abraham and Ishmael did not dwell in tents in Israel but in the city of Mecca in Arabia. Together they rebuilt the Kabah and placed the black stone in the wall. It was Abraham who started the tradition of an annual pilgrimage to Mecca, throwing stones at the devil, etc. Abraham took Ishmael (not Isaac) to nearby Mt. Mina to offer as a sacrifice to God.
Ishmael’s twelve sons were named Nebaioth, Kedar, Adbeel, Mibsam, Mishma, Dumah, Massa, Hadad, Tema, Jetur, Naphish, and Kedemah. (Gen. 12:11-16) They intermarried with the local population in North Arabia and produced several nomadic tribes know as the "Ishmaelites."
It was prophesied in the Torah that Ishmael and his family would "live to the East of all his brothers." (Gen. 16:12) "And they settled from Havilah to Shur which is east of Egypt as one goes toward Assyria." (Gen 25:18) This broad area is the desert section East of Egypt in Northern Arabia toward the kingdom of the Assyrians.
The Ishmaelites are mentioned as a distinct tribe in the Assyrian records. They later intermarried with and were absorbed by the Midianites and other local tribes. In Gen. 37:25-28; 39:1, the Ishmaelites are called the Midianites and in Judges 8:22-24 cf. 7:1f, the Midianites are called the Ishmaelites. The identification cannot be made any stronger.
Arabia was already populated by the descendants of Cush and Shem long before Abraham or Ishmael were born (Gen. 10:7). Their cities and temples have been well documented by archeologists.
If all the Arab people descended from Ishmael as Muhammad claimed, where did all the original Arabs go? What happened to them? Who did Ishmael marry if the Arabs did not already exist? If Arabia was unpopulated, who built Mecca? Since he lived there, obviously it existed before he was born. The facts speak for themselves. The Arab people existed before, during, and after Ishmael moved started roaming the wilderness of North Arabia.
The descendants of Ishmael were scattered in Northern Arabia from the wilderness of Shur to the ancient city of Havilah. They were absorbed by the local tribes such as the Midianites (Gen. 37:25-28; 39:1; Judges 8:24). There is no historical or archeological evidence that Ishmael went south to Mecca and became the "Father" of the Arab race. Some modern Arab scholars admit that before Muhammad, Qahtan was said to be the "Father" of the Arab people, not Ishmael.
The Abrahamic Covenant was given only to Isaac and to his descendants. Ishmael and the other sons of Abraham were explicitly excluded by God from having any part of the covenant made with Abraham. (Gen. 18:18-21)
Therefore the descendants of Ishmael and the other sons of Abraham do not have any claim to the land of Israel because they are not included in the covenant God made with Abraham. Only the Jews have any claim to the land of Israel.
The Islamic Claim to Palestine because they are descendants of Ishmael:
Muslims like to claim that Islam gave them the right to claim the land of Israel as their own. This claim rests upon two false assumptions:
All Arabs are the descendants of Ishmael;
Muhammad went to Jerusalem.
Three Historical Facts that refute these Islamic claims:
The first assumption has already been proven false. The Arab people are not all the descendants of Ishmael and hence they are not the heirs of the Patriarchs, the prophets, the Scriptures or the land of Israel.
The claim that Muhammad went to Jerusalem is false. According to the Qur’an and the Hadith, Muhammad had a dream in the middle of the night in which he traveled through the sky, visited seven heavens, met great people like Jesus, and visited the Jerusalem. Since this was only a dream, he was never actually in Jerusalem. The Mosque on the temple site in Jerusalem is a hoax built on the lie that Muhammad stood on the site.
Nowhere in the Qur’an does it state that Ishmael is the progenitor of the Arab race. Since it is not taught in the Qur’an, it cannot be a true Islamic belief.
Conclusion
The Arab people are not the children of Ishmael. Even if they were, they would still have no claim to Israel because Ishmael was excluded by God Himself from having any part in the covenant made with Abraham. Isaac was the only heir of the Abrahamic covenant. Thus the Arabs as a people have no claim to the land of Israel.
The Muslims have no claim to the land of Israel either. Muhammad never went to Jerusalem except in a dream. The only ones with a spiritual and biblical claim to the land of Israel are the descendants of Isaac, the Jews.
